"I'm trying to get the old office I was a part of to reconsider their decision about a new PM/EMR, OfficeMate/ExamWriter.  I've heard a number of complaints from ODs using ExamWriter relating to its inefficiency;  the ODs I've spoken with who have ExamWriter typically spend 30+ minutes at the end of each day finishing their charts. This is simply not necessary with your program [OD Link].  They have a busy office, so an inefficient EMR will be an absolute nightmare.  They had a terrible experience with Practice Director (which is the reason they are in the market for a new system anyway), and I fear they could run in to similar issues with the EMR in OfficeMate.  I just know how efficient and intuitive your program is [OD Link]. For their sake, I hope they reconsider. To me the choice of PM/EMR hinges on the EMR. If the time in the EMR is not efficient, the rest doesn't matter. While many programs are competitive on the PM side, few have found the same efficiency in their EMR. Your program [OD Link] has done both for me."

I am an optometrist who is opening a private practice of my own in the next few months.  I have been researching practice management and EMR software, and am considering using OD Link in my new office.  I received your names and email addresses from Dr. Craig Cutler as references for his software.  I was wondering if I might ask you a few questions:
 
1. Are you satisfied with your OD Link software?  Yes, very!
2. Are there any features that you feel the software is lacking?  Not really.  Very comprehensive, in fact, we still aren't using all the features (not the System's fault) but hope to be able to do so in the near future.
3. Do you have any experience with other more well-known practice management and/or EMR software - if so, how would you compare those products to OD Link?  Do you have any concerns about the fact that OD Link is not a well-known, widely used software system?  Used the RLI system for several years.  OD Link is much, much better and far less expensive.
4. Are you satisfied with the customer service and support you receive from OD Link? Very responsive.  I kind of hope he doesn't get too big because the larger and better known the company gets, the worse the service seems to get."
