Owner and Creator of OD Link

In 1984, Craig Cutler, OD started a “cold start” optometric practice, Wasatch Vision Clinic.  On opening day, the practice had one patient, one staff member, and one computer without a hard drive, “DOS” or optometric software.  In 1986, Dr. Cutler started work on what has become OD Link.

"I just developed my own software as I needed it.  I kept looking for commercial software but I never saw anything I liked better.  Finally in 2001, I quit full time practice to develop software full time."

Also in 2001, OD Link was installed in several colleagues' offices at no cost.  Our first paying customer was installed in 2003 and still uses it today.  Virtually all users have made suggestions which have been incorporated into the software.  "Much of the fun with OD Link is the fast pace changing world of software and how it applies to Optometrists." says Dr. Cutler.

Our Business

Our mission is to provide comprehensive electronic practice management  solutions for optometry practices.  We strive to meet each client's unique needs in a timely fashion.  We offer a high quality product with very low risk that is cost effective.

Support Staff

The OD Link support and development staff, Marci, Ashlee, and Alyssa worked as opticians using OD Link for before taking on technical support roles. Maja joins the team as a programmer.

Dr. Bateman, OD manages Wasatch Vision Clinic and provides training for doctors new to OD Link.
